1. Netje and these terms. Netje is the contact service operated by the business whose address, Chamber of Commerce number and contact details appear on this page. These terms apply to customers and helpers aged 18 or over. For assistance, complaints and appeals: support@netje.app or the telephone number published on this website. The privacy notice separately explains how personal data is processed. This text was updated on 22 September 2026.
2. The platform service. You can create an account, enter a household help request or helper profile, view suitable profiles and use the available messaging features. Netje is not a party to the agreement for household work. Netje does not accept cleaning assignments, allocate work or customers, set working hours or rates, collect payment for the work or supervise its performance. Helpers pay Netje no commission, contact fee or fee on hours worked. Netje Plus pays only for platform features, not a helper's work.
3. Your own arrangements. Customer and helper decide whether to make contact and enter an agreement. They arrange tasks, scheduling, access, supplies, price, payment, cancellation, tax, insurance and safety between themselves. They may continue outside Netje without a circumvention penalty. Netje does not ask or verify whether a helper acts as a private individual or business and displays no such badge. Work between private individuals may fall under the Dutch Regeling dienstverlening aan huis; consult current government guidance. Netje does not determine which employment or tax rules apply to your situation.
4. Account and profile. Keep your information current and protect your account. Your registration name may be a nickname, but you must not impersonate someone else. Helpers are responsible for their profile text, photo and the necessary rights. Only an approved profile photo is shown to customers. Photo review is not an identity, criminal-record, background, insurance or quality check. Netje does not guarantee a response, availability, appointment, replacement, safety, quality, payment or outcome of household work.
5. Selection and ordering. Netje filters using the request and profile information, such as work area, services, general availability, a shared communication language and relevant preferences. Suitable profiles appear in a fixed order without scoring or paid priority. The order does not rotate daily; changes to a request, availability or the suitable group may change the results. Up to 200 suitable profiles are selected and shown in pages of 20. Plus does not buy priority. Rates, photos, experience and response behaviour do not earn a higher position. The order is not a quality assessment or endorsement by Netje.
6. Netje Plus. Customers can use an account and view suitable helper profiles without Plus. Plus provides the paid contact and messaging features described on the purchase screen. After Plus expires, you can continue the last five conversations subject to the applicable safety and account rules; new conversations require Plus. Reporting, blocking, support and account deletion do not require Plus. A subscription does not guarantee any number of contacts or available helpers.
7. Price, duration and renewal. Plus is offered as a monthly or annual subscription through Apple App Store or Google Play. Before confirmation, the store shows the price, currency, applicable taxes, billing period and any offer. The annual price is charged for the year, not monthly. The subscription automatically renews for the offered period unless you disable renewal through the store. Payment and renewal use the store account used for purchase. A trial or discount applies only if expressly included in the offer; the price and period shown there apply afterwards.
8. Managing and cancelling. Use Manage subscription in Netje or the Apple or Google Play subscription settings with the original store account. Disable automatic renewal before the next renewal according to the store's information. For an Apple trial you do not want to renew, do so at least 24 hours before it ends. After ordinary cancellation, paid access remains until the displayed end of the current period unless a refund, revocation or other lawful measure changes this. A change between monthly and annual plans may take effect in a later period; the store shows the effective date and any adjustment. Selecting another plan does not automatically mean an immediate switch or refund.
9. Restoration and deletion. Use Restore purchases if a valid purchase is missing. The purchase is checked with the store. Restoring with the same store account on another Netje account may transfer subscription access to that account; the earlier account then loses that access. This does not restore deleted conversations or profiles. Signing out, uninstalling the app or deleting your Netje account does not cancel a store subscription. Cancel separately through Apple or Google Play.
10. Withdrawal and refunds. Statutory consumer rights remain in force. An online service generally has a 14-day withdrawal period from the conclusion of the agreement, subject to an applicable statutory exception. Using the app or accepting these terms alone does not automatically waive those rights. For an Apple or Google purchase, use their refund process; you may also send a clear withdrawal statement or complaint to support@netje.app with your account email, purchase date and purchase reference. Do not send payment-card details. Netje helps you find the appropriate route. Cancelling renewal differs from withdrawing or requesting a refund. Store procedures do not restrict your mandatory rights.
11. Prohibited content and conduct. No illegal, sexually explicit, discriminatory, hateful or violent content; no threats, harassment, stalking, fraud, impersonation, phishing, spam or malware. Content exploiting or endangering minors is prohibited. Do not infringe privacy, copyright or other rights or circumvent blocks or security. Do not share passwords, recovery codes, identity documents or unnecessary medical or financial information. Only post content for which you have the necessary rights; Netje may process and display it for the platform service and necessary safety handling.
12. Reporting, blocking and moderation. Users can block and report. A customer can also do so on an accessible helper profile before a conversation; reporting and blocking are available in conversations. A report does not automatically block anyone or impose a sanction. You can report technical problems through Settings. For illegal content or other abuse, you may also use support@netje.app: identify the profile or content, where it can be found and why you are reporting it. Netje reviews reports carefully and may proportionately warn, restrict content or visibility, or suspend or terminate an account. Where legally required, you receive reasons and information about review. Request review at support@netje.app. Not all content is checked beforehand. In immediate danger, call 112; Netje is not an emergency service.
13. Service, changes and rights. Netje remains responsible for its own platform service and statutory conformity; uninterrupted availability is not promised. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer, privacy, employment or other statutory rights. We notify you of material changes in advance unless safety or law requires faster action, and request renewed acceptance where necessary. Dutch law applies without removing mandatory consumer protection available under applicable law. Statutory rights to bring a dispute before a competent court remain. The Dutch text governs translation differences to the extent permitted by law.
